Little Shop Of Horrors (Highschool Ed.)

So this was the first show by my highschool that I went to after leaving.

Technically, I could've been part of this one- I just went online for my senior year. If I'd stayed, I would have been in it, though I have no idea as who. The dentist maybe?? the puppeteer?? whatever the old man's name was?? possibly just ensemble frankly, i could not fucking sing anyway.

Anyway, it was great. After I'd left, the department got a parent that was super involved and helped heavily with set building. So the set was great.

The Audrey II puppet was also pretty good, though I've heard that the puppeteer would've been better for the part than the person that actually voiced it... lol.

The Seymour and Audrey were the best, of course. The Seymour went on to be their Elle Woods when they did Legally Blonde the year after-the range... incredible... And we knew exactly who would play Audrey, and she was perfect.

I also ran into an ex-friend there, which was hysterical. Bitch wouldn't make eye contact with me and walked off the moment I joined a conversation she happened to be in. I think I went to their denny's party after too, where she was PISSED that I happened to sit near her. I think she actually walked off and sat at her own table because she just heard my voice too much, lol...

Overall, this was a while ago, but it was a good show. I cried during their Skid Row-something about "I'd move heaven and hell to get out of here" always kills me. I'd totally see the show live again.
