Statement 12. 4/24/25

Statement begins.

The eleventh hour.

I'm two assignments and about 8 days away from graduating.

I'm also just past 1 year with my wonderful partner, Ren. I got us promise rings! They're black with 'meteorite' (some silvery shards) all the way around. The creator also did free stamping, so mine says 'moon and stars' and his says 'sun and sky'. Getting both of them to us, in the right sizes, was kind of a nightmare, but worth it. I'm happy with them, and I'm happy to hopefully spend my life with him, if he'll have me.

I have a concert in a few days, and then I'll have my partner, his twin, and my brother over for my graduation. And then graduation, of course. And then moving. It's a busy upcoming week.

My last day working at the caves is on the 25th. It'll be a super busy, nightmare day, but I'll be there early so hopefully I'll get off early. It was certainly a job that I had. I liked interacting with the customers sometimes at least. I will not be missing most of my coworkers. I'm glad to had gotten the tour guide experience, it'll be good on a resume.

I also have to deal with looking for apartments. In this fucking economy?? At least I'm doing it with someone that has more experience than me. I'm set up with a good apartment application. It's just that rent is a fucking nightmare now. And so is the job market.
